Salisbury Elk Lick put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Ferndale as Salisbury Elk Lick made off with a 46-23 win. The victory was just what Salisbury Elk Lick needed coming off of a 57-37 loss in their prior game.
Salisbury Elk Lick's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Lance Jones, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds, and Drake Sellers, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Broadwater, who scored three points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Meyersdale was beaten by the Cougars 77-39 on Friday. Meyersdale has struggled against the Cougars recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Salisbury Elk Lick is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Meyersdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.
