After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bourne, the Fairhaven Blue Devils were happy to have found some success on Monday. They walked away with a 46-35 victory over Seekonk. For Fairhaven, this counts as revenge for the 46-43 defeat Seekonk walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Despite the loss, Seekonk still got an impressive performance from Noah Beausoleil, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Travis Pereira was another key contributor, scoring no points along with four blocks and two steals.
Fairhaven's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Seekonk, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
Fairhaven will face off against Old Rochester Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seekonk, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Somerset Berkley Regional at 6:30 p.m. Seekonk will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Somerset Berkley Regional is ranked 12th).
