Baseball Recap: Putnam Valley Has No Trouble Against Pawling

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Putnam Valley blew past Pawling 10-3. The result was nothing new for Putnam Valley, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Sean Carroll spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Jay Constantino was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Aaron Pierre was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Putnam Valley moved to 13-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Pawling, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Putnam Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pawling: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
