Softball Recap: Bell City Has No Trouble Against Merryville

Bell City's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Merryville Panthers 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Bell City got a big performance out of Kamryn Benham, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. What's more, Benham posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynna Doucet, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Bell City's record is now 7-8. As for Merryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Bell City has already played their next match (against Lake Arthur), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Merryville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
