Softball Recap: Sardis' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Sardis came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Skyline Vikings 9-3. Considering the Lions have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Sardis pushed their record up to 21-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games.
