Campbell have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Saturday. They will take on Thomas Jefferson at 12:00 PM. Campbell don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Campbell put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They blew past Dan River 42-10. The rankings were on Campbell's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Deep Run, Thomas Jefferson were happy to find some success last Friday. Thomas Jefferson walked away with a 21-14 win over Tucker. The victory was some much needed relief for Thomas Jefferson as it spelled the end of their three-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Thomas Jefferson to 4-4 and Campbell to 5-3. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Thomas Jefferson and Campbell clash.
