Joshua Springs Christian has not had much luck with Palm Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Palm Valley was led to victory by Donovan Knott and Matteo Lam. Knott scored 23 points along with five steals, while Lam scored 22 points along with eight steals and seven assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Knott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Arsh Rehman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Joshua Springs Christian's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.5 points per game. As for Palm Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Coincidentally, Joshua Springs Christian and Palm Valley will both be playing Weaver the next time they take the court. Palm Valley will head out to face Weaver at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Joshua Springs Christian will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
