Aubree Waites and Mia Latham were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Waites struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Waites has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Waites went 2-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base, while Latham got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. With that strong performance, Latham is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.
In other batting news, Vanessa Brown and Aubrie Deschaine did most of the damage at the plate: Brown got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Deschaine got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Brown has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Hernandez, who earned four runs and one stolen base.

It's a different story for Bishop Ready, though, as they've been averaging only 1.5 strikeouts. Will Whitehall-Yearling keep running through batters, or will the Silver Knights buck the trend?
