Vest Came Up Big in Spanish Fork's 52-27 Victory
Starting off the list is Spanish Fork's Kaden Vest, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vest rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Vest might just drop another big game when he faces off against Timpanogos on Friday. When Vest last faced the Timberwolves back in October of 2023, he rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Griffin Demartini Delivers Best Effort of Season
Griffin Demartini produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Provo to the win on Thursday. Demartini picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 50 yards.
The win (which was Provo's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Demartini and Provo will square off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Oliver Mackay and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Oliver Mackay's big game helped extend Provo's winning streak to six on Thursday. Mackay's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.

Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns from Trevyn Wall
On Thursday, Payson had to settle for second even though Trevyn Wall put up the best numbers he has all season. Wall wasn't messing around, throwing for 472 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. The matchup was his third straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
Payson is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. Wall and Payson will take on Uintah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Tate Allred Turns in Season-Best Effort
Salem Hills was led to victory by Tate Allred, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Allred made 12 total tackles.
On the year, Allred has averaged 10.3 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 58.56 rushing yards.
