Last Friday, Greater Vision Academy took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 75-22 victory over Eno River. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-11.
Greater Vision Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greysen McCadden, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The game was McCadden's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Josiah Love was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Potomac Senior put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Bard 54-27 on the road. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Potomac Senior has scored all year.
It was another big night for Kenny DeGuzman, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was TJ Bethea, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Greater Vision Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Potomac Senior, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
Thursday's matchup is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Greater Vision Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 24.6 rebounds per game.
