The Grand County Red Devils suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 65-32 defeat at the hands of North Summit. While losing is never fun, Grand County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while North Summit is ranked 16th).
Despite the loss, Grand County still got an impressive performance from Trinity Bryant, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
This is the second loss in a row for Grand County and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for North Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand County will face off against North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Summit will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
