Meanwhile, Desert Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Basha on Friday, taking the game 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.
Jared Jimenez looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Desert Ridge got a massive performance out of Kelton Floan, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Mason Gamboa was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
