Watertown won the last time they faced Oshkosh West and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Goslings blew past the Wildcats 13-5. The Goslings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six  runs or more this season.
 Cali Craig was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Breanna Meracle was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs and one  stolen base.  Cassidy Peplinski was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Watertown  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Watertown has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Oshkosh West, they now  have a losing record of 9-10.
 Looking ahead, Watertown will square off against Milton at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Oshkosh West, they will take on Kaukauna at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wildcats have a tough task ahead: they'll enter the  contest with three straight  defeats, while the Galloping Ghosts will come in with 11 straight  victories.
