Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Bendle's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Bendle won the last time they faced Bentley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bendle Tigers secured a 76-70 W over the Bentley Bulldogs.

Bendle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Malis Firman out in front who went 6 for 11 en route to 14 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Firman is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Caleb Bingham was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 20 points.

Bendle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Bentley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Bendle will look to defend their home court on Friday against Genesee at 7:30 p.m. Bentley has already played their next matchup (against Flint Southwestern Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
