Sasakwa waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Strother Yellowjackets. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one run.

Sasakwa pushed their record up to 18-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Strother, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Strother wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Savanna on the 18th. Hopefully Sasakwa paid attention to the Yellowjackets' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Yellowjackets on Saturday.
