Christian Community hasn't had much luck against Clarksville Christian recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Christian Community Colts will take on the Clarksville Christian Centurions at 12:00 p.m. Christian Community will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Christian Community earned a 49-36 victory over Pleasant View Christian.

Christian Community got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was B.J. Head out in front who went 7 of 13 on her way to 19 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Head a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Autumn Hubbard, who posted 13 points and four steals.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clarksville Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 59-20 victory over Highland Rim Academy. The Centurions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 27 points or more this season.
Clarksville Christian found their leader in sophomore Lauren Hassell, who went 8 for 11 en route to 20 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Marley Spiers, who scored nine points and eight rebounds.
Clarksville Christian pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points per game. As for Christian Community, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Christian Community has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 21.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Clarksville Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Christian Community was dealt a bruising 51-16 defeat at the hands of Clarksville Christian in their previous matchup back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Christian Community was down 41-3.
