VINTON, Va. -
Rockbridge County (Lexington, Va.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Omar White ran for a touchdown with 7:00 to go, bringing the team to victory over
Byrd (Vinton, Va.) 21-14.
After trailing 14-7 at the half, the Terriers went ahead on a touchdown with 11:00 to go in the fourth.
White stood out for Rockbridge County in the win. The junior running back ran for one touchdown.
RC had given up an average of 15.7 points prior to the contest.
A 46-28 Rockbridge County victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
With the win the Wildcats extended their winning streak to three games.
