Harmony Science Academy's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Immanuel Christian by a score of 46-43. While losing is never fun, Harmony Science Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1125th, while Immanuel Christian is ranked 334th).
Immanuel Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Ayala out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Story, who scored 14 points.
Harmony Science Academy now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Immanuel Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony Science Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Immanuel Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Eastlake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastlake is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
