The Ramapo Raiders came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down Ridgewood 59-41. Ramapo pushed the score to 48-28 by the end of the third, a deficit Ridgewood cut but never quite recovered from.
Wyatt Eglinton manner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chris Cervino, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Ramapo is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Ridgewood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-6.
Ramapo will head out on the road to challenge Hackensack at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Ramapo's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests. As for Ridgewood, they will be playing at home against Union City at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Ridgewood is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Union City in New Jersey (Ridgewood is ranked 37th, while Union City is ranked 144th).
