The King William Cavaliers pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 70-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carver College and Career Academy. King William has not had much luck with Carver College and Career Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Carver College and Career Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Hill out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine steals. Hill has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times he's played. Tyson Marsh was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
King William's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Carver College and Career Academy, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Thomas Jefferson the next time they take the court. King William will head out to face Thomas Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Carver College and Career Academy will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
