This season hasn't been kind to the Berne Union Rockets, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a 39-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Rosecrans on Tuesday. Berne Union was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bishop Rosecrans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Bishop Rosecrans' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abbie Sagan, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Maddie Bernett, who scored 8 points.
Berne Union has fallen quite a ways from their 25-1 record last season and are now at 0-4. As for Bishop Rosecrans, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berne Union is on the road again on Thursday and play against Patriot Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they will take on Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grove City Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
