Patrick Henry not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 5th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Lincoln with a sharp 3-0 win.
One reason for the win was Patrick Henry's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-14.
Patrick Henry's win came from a few key players La Jolla will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ashlynn Kirchoff, who had 12 digs. Joee Verdin also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Patrick Henry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.
Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for La Jolla, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-11.
