 Meanwhile, St. John made easy work of East Iberville  on Wednesday and carried off  a  3-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.
 Southern Lab now  has a winning record of 18-17. As for St. John, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
 Southern Lab couldn't quite get it done against St. John when the teams last played  back in September of 2024 as they fell  2-0. Can the Kittens avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
