The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity Christian in their matchups with Ursuline Academy: they've now lost six in a row.
Ursuline Academy had a senior duo take command as Madelyne Davis scored 15 points along with five steals and Izzy Schroeder scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Davis' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiana Mollabashy, who scored ten points.
Trinity Christian's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Ursuline Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Trinity Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Prestonwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. Prestonwood Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three matchups. As for the Bears, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears present a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bears in their respective states (the Bears are ranked 34th in Massachusetts, while the Bears are ranked 176th in Texas).
