Platteville is 10-0 against River Valley since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. River Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Platteville, who comes in off a win.
In what's become a running theme this season, Platteville gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on La Crosse Logan with a sharp 63-37 victory. Given Platteville's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while La Crosse Logan is ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, River Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 65-22 loss at the hands of Mauston.
River Valley used a three-pronged attack on offense:

Alexis Deviney, and
Karina Osborn posted four points each.
Platteville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for River Valley, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Platteville against River Valley when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 66-21 victory. Will Platteville repeat their success, or does River Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
