Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Catherine). They were the clear victors by a 25-1 margin over the Collegiate Cougars on Thursday. Kinnady Branch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, St. Catherine's got a massive performance out of Olivia Tull, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with five runs, three RBI, and one double. Those five runs gave Tull a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Morey, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one double.
St. Catherine's pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
