Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brindlee Mountain). They put the hurt on the Woodville Panthers with a sharp 18-8 win on Tuesday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 19-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brindlee Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Woodville, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brindlee Mountain will square off against Skyline at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodville, they will head out on the road to square off against Athens Bible at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Woodville has given up an average of 16.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
