Franklin barely beat Centennial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Admirals put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 12-3 victory on Wednesday. Chloe Rowland made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those five hits gave her a new career-high.
