The Portland Adventist Academy Cougars suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Westside Christian 69-31. Portland Adventist Academy has not had much luck with Westside Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Dane Petersen was Portland Adventist Academy's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Petersen also led the team in assists with two. He held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.
Portland Adventist Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 11-4. As for Westside Christian, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Valley Catholic the next time they take the court. Westside Christian will host Valley Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Portland Adventist Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
