Even though the Winston County Yellowjackets have not done well against the Red Bay Tigers recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Winston County simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Red Bay 56-28 on the road. For Winston County, this counts as revenge for the 54-50 defeat Red Bay walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Winston County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lynleigh Cobb, who scored eight points along with ten steals and nine rebounds. Those ten steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Emma Kate Veal, who scored 20 points.
