When it comes to explaining why Schoolhouse Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hector Samaniego. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Torres, who scored 10 points.
Schoolhouse Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for St. Brendan, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Schoolhouse Prep will head out on the road to face off against North Broward Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Brendan, they will face off against Stranahan at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Stranahan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 131st, while St. Brendan is ranked 27th).
