Waterloo won the last time they faced Poynette and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates came out on top against the Pumas by a score of 2-0.

Lilli Lauersdorf paced Waterloo's offense, picking up eight kills. Lauersdorf got some help from Mya Novak and her 12 assists. Emma Crave controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Waterloo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Poynette, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
