Hermleigh made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Roby, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Lions on Friday. That looming 15-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.

Hermleigh is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Roby, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
