Faith Baptist will head out on the road to square off against Rochester Hills Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Faith Baptist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Faith Baptist came up short against Bethany Christian and fell 44-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Faith Baptist has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Faith Baptist got a solid performance out of Silas Mosey, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Zech Gartrelle was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Rochester Hills Christian didn't have too much trouble with Faith Christian on the road on Tuesday as they won 49-30.
Faith Baptist has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Rochester Hills Christian, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Faith Baptist was able to grind out a solid victory over Rochester Hills Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 49-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Faith Baptist since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
