The Eldon Mustangs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They strolled past Lebanon with points to spare, taking the game 59-40. Given Eldon's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Lebanon is ranked 359th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eldon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sydney Halderman, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Halderman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
