Brooklyn Sergent made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, JoEllen Erskin was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Dallas Nicklos was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Estero has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Moore Haven struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 14.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Estero got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2023 against Moore Haven by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Terriers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
