The Mountain View Mountain Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Niwot at home to the tune of 69-27. The win was just what Mountain View needed coming off of a 77-43 defeat in their prior game.
Addison Branscum continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Meghan Keil, who scored 15 points.
Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Niwot, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Mountain View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-52 victory vs. Loveland on the 10th. Niwot will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Skyline at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th. Skyline is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Niwot a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
