LaFayette was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were  outmatched by the Heritage Generals and fell  38-10. The Ramblers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  24-3.
 LaFayette didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Bryson Cleghorn and  Jordan Ridley.
  Brayden Slaughter had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 160 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 15 carries, while also picking up 32 receiving yards for Heritage. Slaughter got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 87 yards. Another player making a difference was  Caden Hight, who threw for 234 yards and three  touchdowns on only 18 passes.
LaFayette now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Heritage,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-2.
 Coincidentally, LaFayette and Heritage will both be playing Calhoun the next time they take the field. The Generals will  host the Yellow Jackets at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday, while the Ramblers will head out to face them  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 30th.
