Aden Allsbrook Delivers Best Effort of Season
North Stanly was led to victory by Aden Allsbrook, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allsbrook picked up four sacks, forced a fumble, and made 17 total tackles.
Union Academy's probably not too fond of Allsbrook given he always seems to get the better of them. Allsbrook made 17 total tackles the last time he and the Cardinals duked it out back in September of 2023.

Ricardson Made His Presence Known in South Stanly's 35-30 Loss
Kaleb Ricardson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least four passing touchdowns. He threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.1% of his passes.
South Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. Ricardson and South Stanly will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

David Wignot Turns in Season-Best Effort
David Wignot produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lake Norman Charter to the win on Friday. Wignot threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
The victory for Lake Norman Charter keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Wignot and Lake Norman Charter have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome North Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Norman Charter Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Major Leak
Major Leak was instrumental in extending Lake Norman Charter's winning streak to seven on Friday. Leak turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
SouthLake Christian Academy had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Leak it was a similar story. When Leak last faced the Eagles back in August of 2023, he picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Jasiah Holt Turns in Another Game with at Least Two Receiving Touchdowns
Sadly, Jasiah Holt posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead South Stanly over Mount Pleasant on Friday. Holt wasn't messing around, picking up 98 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The game was his third straight with two or more receiving touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 61 yards.
On the season, Holt has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 89.8 receiving yards per game.
