For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Forest Hills Central and West Ottawa meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Rangers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 2-1. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Forest Hills Central's victory bumped their record up to 17-18. As for West Ottawa, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-16-1.

Forest Hills Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Detroit Country Day on the 11th. As for West Ottawa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Grand Haven on the 14th.
