Sebring had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Martin County Tigers 13-10. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Streaks in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Sebring's defense made their presence known, laying out Manny Louis. 3.5 times. Leading the way was Jordan Olds with two sacks.

Martin County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Louis, who threw for 202 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 58 yards on only eight carries. A healthy portion of Louis' aerial production (137 yards to be exact) went to Antonio Escamilla.

Sebring didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-0 loss against Clearwater Central Catholic on the 29th. As for Martin County, they have also already played their next contest, a 30-13 win against Boynton Beach on the 29th.
