The Shore Regional Blue Devils lost against the Colts Neck Cougars back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Shore Regional fell 58-46 to Colts Neck.
Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reese Fiore, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Fiore has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Conley Smolokoff, who scored nine points.
Shore Regional's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Colts Neck, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Shore Regional will head out on the road to challenge Keyport at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colts Neck, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Middletown South at 5:30 p.m. Middletown South will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
