Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concordia Academy). They never let the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Beacons in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won four in a row.
Concordia Academy got a great performance from Bailey Doerfler as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Doerfler has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Adelyn Sutherland was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Anna Halvorsen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
