Meanwhile, Corydon Central waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Pioneers. The result was nothing new for Corydon Central, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Corydon Central also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Madison Garretson gave up only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Addyson Leonard was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Paisley Teeter was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a double.
