After a string of four wins, The North Penn Knights''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 42-35 to Spring-Ford. The contest was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but North Penn was outscored by Spring-Ford in the second.
Leading Spring-Ford to victory were Mason Scott and Matt Zollers. Scott picked up 204 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Zollers threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt. Zollers hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games.
North Penn's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Spring-Ford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
North Penn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Spring-Ford's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Central Bucks South at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
