Baseball Recap: Warsaw's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Warsaw extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 15-7 in the process. They came out on top against the Eldon Mustangs by a score of 5-2. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 13-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

As for Eldon, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only two runs.

For Eldon's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Hardy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Drew Hinds also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Coming up, Warsaw will host Lone Jack at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eldon, they are taking a road trip to challenge Iberia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
