After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Victory Christian Academy, Andrews Academy were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-47 win over Varsity Opponent. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Andrews Academy also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andrews Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braden Keyes, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fin Dronen, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Andrews Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they dropped their record down to 346-1257-2 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road.
Andrews Academy will square off against the Couriers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Christian is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
