Dickinson extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. They really took it to the Clear Falls Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-17 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Gators' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Knights are ranked 192nd).

Dickinson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tavin Gomez, who rushed for 124 yards and one TD. Those 124 rushing yards gave Gomez a new career-high. Lorenzo Aguirre was another key signal caller, throwing for 216 yards and four touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Dickinson proved: they limited Clear Falls to a paltry 1.3 yards per carry. The Gators didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.4.

As for Clear Falls, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Clear Falls took the loss, they still got scores from Brooks Ponshock and Aaron Trujillo.
