After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sheridan, Clinton Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Attica Red Ramblers by a score of 56-49. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Attica's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DeCarlos Rudy, who posted 18 points and eight rebounds. Rudy is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Greyson Skeels was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Clinton Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Attica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Clinton Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 92-65 defeat against North Vermillion on the 17th. As for Attica, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-32 loss against Seeger on the 20th.
