In what's become a running theme this season, the Ilwaco Fishermen gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 79-38 victory over Ocosta. The victory was nothing new for Ilwaco as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Ocosta's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Priest, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Bryan Ceja, who scored eight points.
Ilwaco pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Ocosta, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
